Margaret Hall, MPA

margaret hallMargaret Hall has expertise in the following areas: integration of climate resilience plans into general and other local plans and processes, research and analysis of resiliency issues, local capacity building, and project coordination.

Margaret is the Associate Director at the Model Forest Policy Program (MFPP). Margaret’s recent MFPP project work has focused on implementation of climate resilient solutions with both rural and Indigenous organizations/communities in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Alaska.  Her experiences prior to MFPP include: planning and zoning commissioner for 11 years in a rural county where she helped update the local ordinances, comprehensive plan, and planning and zoning maps; implementation of long-term land management solutions in Quebec, and development of green affordable housing for vulnerable populations in Spokane, WA. Margaret holds an M.P.A focused on Sustainable Community Development from the University of Washington; and a B.A. in French/ Finance from the University of Idaho.
